FACE TREATMENTS
For facial volume loss, wrinkles and longer-lasting collagen-driven contouring
At Clinic RX, Ellansé treatment is personalised according to your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss and aesthetic goals. It may be used to restore selected areas of facial volume, soften folds and improve facial contour and definition.
In Malaysia, Ellansé S is the variant currently available, with results typically lasting up to approximately 2 years. Individual longevity varies according to the treatment area, amount used and individual response.

Ellansé is an injectable filler that combines immediate volumising with collagen stimulation. It contains PCL microspheres suspended in a gel carrier.
The gel provides the initial contouring effect after injection. As the gel is gradually absorbed, the PCL microspheres remain temporarily within the tissue and stimulate new collagen formation around them.
This makes Ellansé different from conventional fillers that mainly rely on the injected gel itself to provide volume.
Ellansé works in two stages. First, the gel carrier adds volume immediately, allowing the treated area to look more supported or defined after injection.
Over the following weeks, the gel is gradually absorbed. The PCL microspheres then act as a temporary scaffold that stimulates your body to produce new collagen around the treated area.
As a result, the initial gel-driven volume is progressively supported by collagen formation, allowing the result to develop and mature over time.

The most appropriate treatment depends on your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss and the type of correction you want to achieve.

Other facial areas may be considered depending on anatomy and medical assessment. The injection plan should be individualised rather than using the same amount or placement for every patient.
The initial volumising effect is visible immediately after treatment, although swelling may temporarily influence the appearance.
Collagen-related improvement develops progressively over the following months. Results are temporary and vary according to the treatment area, amount injected, facial anatomy and individual response.

Suitability varies between individuals and should be confirmed during consultation.
Tell your doctor about your medical history, medications, allergies and all previous facial filler or aesthetic treatments before proceeding.
As with any injectable filler treatment, Ellansé can cause temporary injection-related effects and carries uncommon but potentially significant complications.

Less common complications can include persistent nodules, inflammation, infection or other filler-related reactions. As with any filler injection, accidental injection into a blood vessel is a rare but serious complication that requires urgent medical assessment.
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Ellansé does not have a simple, widely available dissolving agent. This is an important consideration before treatment.
Downtime is generally mild. Redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising may occur immediately after injection.
Swelling is often most noticeable during the first 24-72 hours and then gradually settles. The initial contour becomes clearer as swelling decreases, while collagen-driven improvement continues to develop over the following months.

The cost of Ellansé varies according to the treatment area and amount of product required.
At Clinic RX, your facial anatomy and treatment goals are assessed before an appropriate treatment plan and pricing are discussed.
